🌊⭐ Welcome back to Kids Corner – Ocean Creatures Edition! ⭐🌊
Get ready to dive deep into one of the COOLEST groups of sea creatures ever — the amazing echinoderms (that’s a fancy word from Greek meaning “spiny skin”… basically hedgehog skin! 🦔🌊).
So what makes echinoderms so awesome?

👉 Most of them have five-point symmetry — just like a star!

And this incredible ocean squad includes:
⭐ Starfish (sea stars!)
🟣 Sea urchins
💿 Sand dollars
🌟 Brittle stars
🥒 Sea cucumbers
🌸 And our personal favorite… crinoids (also called sea lilies!)

There are over 7,000 living species today — and more than 13,000 extinct ones found as fossils. That’s a LOT of ocean history!

🌊 Some echinoderms hang out near the shore, but others live SUPER deep — we’re talking 20,000 to 30,000 feet below the surface! That’s deeper than most submarines go!
