How to use AR codes in DeSmuMe:
Cheat menu locations can vary, but mine can be found under Tools, Cheats, then List. You kinda have to look around.
Under "add cheats code as...", press Action Replay. Paste the code in the "Code:" box. You can also add a description so you know what it does.
Check the box next to the code to turn it on. Otherwise, uncheck it so you don't activate the code by accident!

Copy and paste this code (except the English words, of course).
They're two separate codes. Press L and R to activate them in your game. Not the actual keyboard keys. The L and R controls you set for your emulator.
