Running on Keys started as a piano sketch… until our cat James sprinted across the controller and dropped a handful of completely unhinged notes.

Instead of fixing it, I leaned in—chopping, glitching, warping, and rebuilding the track into something chaotic, progressive, and unpredictable.

The result is a glitchy chiptune-influenced prog experiment built from randomness, happy accidents, and a very opinionated cat.
