This week, we’re spotlighting the incredible work undertaken by learning disability nurses across the UK and the RCN Learning Disability Forum.

Whether it’s in hospitals, community teams, or social care, learning disability nurses are advocates, problem solvers and work year-round to help ensure people with learning disabilities, who face stark health inequalities, are provided with high quality, person-centred care.

Learning disability nursing needs more investment, better workforce planning, safeguarded education and strengthened early career progression.
