ForTheLoveOfRyan | Fortune Smiles, Adam Johnson BOOK REVIEW (National Book Award) @RyanRabid | Uploaded December 2015 | Updated October 2024, 8 hours ago.
In which Ryan reviews Fortune Smiles by Adam Johnson, which just a few weeks ago won the 2015 National Book Award for fiction. It's a 305 page long collection of six stories: "Nirvana," "Hurricanes Anonymous," "Interesting Facts," "George Orwell Was a Friend of Mine," "Dark Meadow," and "Fortune Smiles."

It is also fantastically good.
