Forskolin - i first learned of this compound during my undergrad biochemistry lectures. Besides understanding it for my exams, i hadn’t dedicated much thinking time to it. That was until now. Because, forskolin is actually a very interesting molecule that has a variety of impacts within the cell. Forskolin, by activating adenylate kinase, increases cyclic AMP levels (cAMP). cAMP activity is linked with fat loss, eye pressure, cardiovascular disease to Alzheimer's. Too good to be true? In this video we'll discuss what forskolin actually is, how does it work and what is the verdict for therapeutic applicability?
