Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi joined Helena Foulkes onstage for a rally in Providence Sunday afternoon.

Pelosi said her family and Foulkes’ family have been close for decades, and the Speaker Emerita spoke glowingly about Foulkes’ skills as a leader and a listener when she took the stage at Farm Fresh Rhode Island.

With 10 days left until the primary, Pelosi’s appearance had the crowd of supporters excitedly snapping photos of the two onstage.
