Former GOP Rep. Liz Cheney encouraged Republicans who don't want a second Donald Trump term to vote for Vice Pres. Kamala Harris at a rally in Wisconsin on Thursday evening, saying, if elected, Harris would be an inspiration to "all of our children ... especially our little girls."
Cheney is among a handful of prominent Republicans who have pledged to support Harris' bid, but her endorsement, as the daughter of a former Republican vice president and as one of former Pres. Trump's most outspoken critics within the party, is one that Harris hopes to leverage in crucial states like Wisconsin, whose margins are expected to be razor thin.
