I sketched this out during my brief couple of weeks in Austin in 2014. Lost, confused, frustrated, and miles upon miles away from my family, I needed something to reassure myself that I could still do what I loved. It's one of a few songs I've finished since then, and one of a few I considered releasing as an instrumental. SEVERAL months later, I'm finally doing that.

Surprise! Its a double-whammy! This songs more of a love letter to those who came before me, and set the trends for eurobeat long before I got into the genre myself. I like to think of it as a Hi-NRG Attack song with vocal cues from Mauro Farina, produced at Sinclairestyles studio. (Except, Id not deign to suggest Im on their level yet. ^^; )
If you like this song, youd probably love Wanted by ABeatPower & Edo & Dave & Domino! (That is a heck of a title!) That was the inspiration for the chorus!

I don’t really agree with the mindset of this character I’ve written, here. They seem to want to focus on perfecting every little detail of their work, whereas I’ve had to learn to temper my perfectionism and improve over multiple releases. Nevertheless, it was fun to consider what this marble-sculptor had in mind for whatever he was working on, and perhaps look back on similar struggles with perfectionism.
…speaking of which, I think I was way too heavy with echo & reverb on the vocals this time around. Whoops.
