Track 2 from the EP! Forest Funk is one of those tracks from Danny Baranowsky's Super Meat Boy soundtrack that was just begging to be orchestrated. The more staccato feel is something I'm a little less used to working on, as well as the faster woodwind solos taking on the main synth part from the original, so working on this track was quite a challenge. Working on this EP was a bit of a trial by fire for making me learn how to use write percussion parts, and the main goal of this particular track was to weave parts around each other in the mix to get more of a bouncy, sharp feel than what I usually go for.
