Court ended early Wednesday for jurors in the Lindsay Clancy murder trial, but not before the psychologist who evaluated the Duxbury, Massachusetts, woman after her children were killed took the stand.
Paul Zeizel told the jury in Plymouth Superior Court that in his professional opinion, Clancy was suffering from postpartum psychosis and therefore was not criminally responsible for killing her children on Jan. 24, 2023.
"She had bipolar disorder with postpartum psychoses. In addition, she was unable to conform her behaviors to the rule of law, and she had no appreciation for the wrongfulness of her act," Zeizel testified.
