Ford Urges Canada to Target Deep Red US States With Tariffs  @Bloomberg-News

Ontario Premier Doug Ford said he had a message for Canadian workers after US President Donald Trump on Monday escalated the trade dispute between the two countries again, threatening to impose a 50% tariff on Canadian automobiles, auto parts and steel starting next year: "No matter what President Trump sends our way, we'll have your backs," he said. #canada #trump #news #usa #politics

Responding to Trump's latest tariff announcement during a news conference in Hamilton, Ford said he fully supported Prime Minister Mark Carney's decision to walk away from trade negotiations with the Trump administration on Friday, saying Washington demanded too much in exchange for tariff relief.
