The Ford Fiesta Rallycross (MK8) made a brief one-off appearance during the 2019 FIA World Rallycross Championship Season.

This was at Höljes in Sweden, where Sebastian Eriksson was competing in his home event.

Höljes is known for hosting the “Magic Weekend” of Rallycross, the Swedish location a favourite amongst fans and drivers.

The 2019 event didn’t disappoint, with Eriksson taking a famous home victory after fending off fellow Swedes Timmy and Kevin Hansen in the Final.

In preparation for his appearance, A number of changes were made to the Ford Fiesta Rallycross (MK8) for 2019, in comparison to the 2018 car.

The most notable change was the repositioning of the radiators, which were moved to the rear for better weight distribution, boosting performance.
