This video demonstrates how to change the gear oil in the front differential on the 2009-Present Ford F-150. In 2009 Ford added a front crossmember piece blocking access to the front differential cover making it hard to remove. So now the gear oil must be extracted through the fill/check plug. The 2009-2016 will use 80w-90 and the 2017-Present will use 75w-85 gear oil. Parts and tools used in this video were purchased from Amazon and I will include links below.
