It's well past Christmas and people are still wasting money and energy showing off their blow up Santa and snowman. The bright and, even worse, blinking lights are enough to drive a neighbor mad. The blinds and curtains are not enough to block out the glaring and obnoxious light show across the street. I don't mean to sound like a scrooge, but the tacky light thing has gotten out of control. When people started putting the Christmas blow up dolls in their yard, it became a contest of who could put on the most ridiculous light and lawn ornament display of all. I will say, I do enjoy the insanely good lights that people spend tons of time making look perfect and organized, but the random placement of light in trees and bushes with no symmetry whatsoever is god awful. Those houses look like a 6 year old put up the lights. I shouldn't be able to follow the wire line of lights around the house. Either make your light show look great or just keep those bulbs and Christmas blow up dolls in the attic. If you just can't help yourself and need to throw something together, at least have the courtesy to shut things down after 8 or 9 p.m. so the neighbors can sleep or watch T.V. without your light pollution coming through their houses. If you are going to make them blink, it better be to music. Some of you will agree with me 100% and love this video and others will hate this. Will the haters please leave a mean comment below?
