Note: So my image/explanation actually didn't explain it properly and I only realised when rewatching, but the middle point appears to overlap the base projectile + the additional projectile fired at surrounding targets meaning our 5 projectiles is actually 6, however those 6 projectiles all hit. Additional projectiles beyond the 6th appear to miss. If anyone is super interested I can upload the testing video and you can see for yourself how additional projectiles miss MOST of the time.
