Winner of four ENNIE Awards 2019, Forbidden Lands is a new take on classic fantasy roleplaying, as players explore an open-world survival roleplaying game as raiders and rogues in a cursed world, wandering the wild lands, discovering lost tombs, and fighting terrible monsters.
The Book of Beasts is a beautifully illustrated bestiary presenting twenty-eight new monsters in great detail, including random encounters, legends, options to harvest resources from slain beasts, and insight into a monster's strengths and weaknesses.
The contents also include rules for traps, rare tomes, alchemy, and a system for playing Forbidden Lands solo.
Forbidden Lands: Book of Beasts, designed by Andreas Marklund & Erik Granström with illustrations by Henrik Rosenborg & Niklas Brandt, is available from Free League Publishing as a 200-page hardback book with an RRP of £32.91. A complete PDF is included and will be sent shortly after purchase.
