Happy Halloween, everybody! I don't know what's scarier, the day or the fact that I'm actually uploading something! While Bandicam still doesn't work, I'm trying a new software, OBS, which so far is working quite well.
As for the actual song, it was made for the Famitracker Discord Chat's Halloween event. I originally made something 50's sci-fi esque, but I couldn't make it work, so I moved on to this. My idea for this one was to convey a sense of madness. The piece doesn't really have any standard tonality. It uses a non-standard scale and modulates constantly. For maximum terrifyingness, I made sure that it always modulated either a tritone or a series of intervals that led into one. The timpani was a last minute addition, since everyone I showed it to wanted it in there. With that out of the way, I hope you enjoy the song!
