Could the Forbidden Dreadnought E be the ultimate hard-hitting enduro eMTB?
Ever since Forbidden entered the mountain bike world with its high-pivot suspension platform, we've wanted to see that same ride character paired with full-power electric assistance. Now it's finally here. Combining Forbidden's distinctive suspension design and aggressive geometry with the incredibly powerful Avinox M2/M2S drive system, the Dreadnought E promises as much speed on the climbs as it delivers on the descents.
We headed to Santa Fe, New Mexico, to find out how the Forbidden Dreadnought E stacked up against 14 of the best electric mountain bikes in our 2026 eMTB Shootout. Could this be the holy grail of enduro eMTBs?
