In September last year, I lost the first dog I ever had in Luca, he was 14 years old so he had a great life full of love and care from my family and everyone who had the pleasure of meeting him. A grand old doggo with a protective streak which earned him the nickname General! Of course he lives on through all those who loved him and his daughter Florence (of whom you've seen on the channel quite a few times, but Luca was a specimen loved by all and I was so heartbroken when he left us.

But back on topic, this is a cover I immediately wanted to do ever since I re-watched this underrated Direct-to-DVD movie. Now that, my friends, is how you do a Christopher Robin abandoning story! (Not like a certain piece of Winnie the Poo that came out earlier this year). This is such a sweet number with heartfelt vocals from Jim Cummings as the cuddly stuff with fluff himself as he realizes just how lost he is without Christopher Robin. A song that speaks levels about the idea of feeling like you are lost without someone specific in your life especially considering the whole reason Pooh is alive is because of Christopher Robin's imagination.
I'm aware this isn't the anniversary of Luca's death or anything, but I still wanted to pay respects to a friend who was a defining part of my childhood and show how much I miss them. Thank you boy, hope you're flying high!
