Today, Ubisoft® and Twitch, the world’s leading social video platform and community for gamers, announced a collaboration on “War of the Factions”, a limited-time, cross-platform event tied to the upcoming For Honor™ beta, January 26-29. During the beta event, popular Twitch streamers along with selected community members and For Honor fans, will pledge their swords to one of the three For Honor Factions – the Knights, Samurai or Vikings. As Generals, these streamers will lead their armies of players to battle on their respective Twitch channels. All activity from the Generals and the entire player base of the beta during War of the Factions can be found here:.forhonorgame.com/war Fans still looking to pledge their sword to a Faction can sign up for a chance to participate in the closed beta at forhonorgame.com/war.

In addition to the War of the Factions event, For Honor will be part of an upcoming Twitch Prime promotion, where all Twitch Prime members can get an exclusive For Honor Twitch Prime bundle. This bundle will include a 10-day Champion Status that gives players XP boosts that can be shared amongst friends, more XP from crafting, additional end-match loot, plus the “United Factions Emblem” that can be used to customize their character. The For Honor Twitch Prime bundle is only and will be available in-game when For Honor launches on February 14, 2017.

For Honor’s closed beta will be available from January 26-29 on next-gen consoles and PC, giving players an opportunity to experience the multiplayer content of the upcoming game. This closed beta will be one of the first opportunities for players to try the Nobushi, a new hybrid Samurai Hero that is a mix of the Vanguard and Assassin Hero types. In addition to the Nobushi, the closed beta will showcase Faction War, a persistent cross-platform metagame that will evolve the war across the For Honor world. For Honor has also officially gone gold, and the upcoming closed beta will allow developers to take community feedback and balance content before launch.

Developed by Ubisoft Montreal in collaboration with other Ubisoft studios*, For Honor offers an engaging campaign and thrilling multiplayer modes. Players embody warriors of the three Great Factions – the bold Knights, the brutal Vikings and the enigmatic Samurai—fighting to the death on intense and believable melee battlefields. The game’s innovative combat system, the Art of Battle, puts players in total control of their warriors, allowing them to utilize the unique skills and combat style of each Hero to vanquish all enemies who stand in their way. For Honor will be available on February 14, 2017.
