"...do you ever get homesick?..."

This video was made for the 1st round of The Journey Contest hosted by Amanda (xfoxyamanda11) where she asked us to vid a snippet of a journey, it could be a season, an episode or just focus on one side of a certain story. I decided to do Lip and Fiona from Shameless US during season 4 only, I love their sibling relationship and especially this last season because they're the ones who always fight but at the end of the day they're always there for each other.

Season 4 showed a whole new side to Fiona and how Lip had to grow up and be the adult figure since she wasn't really around and messed up a lot, Lip struggled with understanding Fiona but in the end he realized he couldn't turn his back on her when she had always been there for him. I tried to show that in this video and it is simply focused on season 4 of this amazing show.

Voiceovers:

Fiona: I don't know who I am anymore since clearly I'm not the big sister taking care of everyone.
Lip: Maybe that's good.
Fiona: How?
Lip: There's more to you than that.

Fiona: Hey, you ok?
Lip: I could be better, you know it's um, I don't know I'm a little um, it's...
Fiona: Different?
Lip: Yeah, you too?
Fiona: God yes.

Fiona: When did you get home?
Lip: Last night.
Fiona: So good to see you.
Lip: Yeah you too.

Fiona: Oh my god! Call!
Veronica: Liam?

Kev: It was an accident, Lip.
Lip: If you say so.

Fiona: Lip? How is he?
Lip: He's alive.
Fiona: Tell him that I love him, ok? And I'm so so sorry.

Lip: Sort your shit out.

Fiona: I made a mistake.
Lip: You're guilty.
Fiona: It was an accident.
Lip: You almost killed Liam.
Fiona: You don't think I'm blaming myself enough already so I need you to do it too?

Fiona: I am not guilty!
Lip: Liam almost died! And that was you!

Fiona: I'm guilty.

Fiona: I need my family back.

Lip: Do whatever the fuck you need to do, I've got this.

Fiona: Thanks.

Fiona: But I need some help now.

Fiona: I'm so sorry.
Lip: It's ok.

Lip: You've always been there for us, I think we've taken it for granted. I know I have and you're going through some shit and I turn my back? I'm sorry.

Lip: You're not perfect, Fiona. None of us are.
