Hey all!

This was a fun experiment! With Blender 2.9+ containing the start of frame interpolation (fading between frames), I wondered whether there was an easier wat than in the previous tutorial, and there is!
1) Add your rendered scene as a strip in a different project or scene in the VSE
2) Use the speed strip to drastically shorten it to the base frames you want with the strobe on 2 (it means it plays half the frames, ie, 1 every 2 frames, if set to 3, it's 1 every 3 frames, etc.)
3) Now use the speed strep to stretch it to the length you want it and tick the frame interpolation box and hit render.

Remember, the goal is to: hold-fade-hold-fade-hold-fade, etc.
Rendered in EEVEE.
