A Brazilian footballer’s goal celebration went spectacularly wrong when he jumped over the advertising boards and fell into an open tunnel leading beneath the stadium.
Coritiba defender Jacy Maranhão was able to return to the field after the fall but was later substituted with an ankle injury. To make matters worse, the goal he had been celebrating was then ruled out for offside.
