I make ribs almost every week, and this is the way that I make it! Delicious, tender, and foolproof!

Watch my video on how to make homemade bbq sauce here:
youtube.com/watch?v=hiWYf4a7IMMINGREDIENTS:

INGREDIENTS:

1 rack of pork baby back ribs with membrane removed

extra virgin olive oil

garlic powder

onion powder

salt

black pepper

lots of paprika

FOR THE BBQ SAUCE:

Your favorite jar of bbq sauce (I like Sweet Baby Rays in Hickory and Brown Sugar)

1-2 tsp of liquid smoke

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Line your baking sheet with some foil and set this aside.
2. Wash and pat dry your back ribs, and remove the membrane.
3. Place your ribs on your baking sheet and season the back of your ribs (the part with no meat) with some black pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and some paprika. Flip your ribs over to the meaty side and then drizzle some extra virgin olive oil, making sure to rub it in. Season, but this time, go heavy on the paprika! Make it look like a fiery red color. Rub the spices in well.
4. Move your oven rack to the 2nd highest rack and broil your ribs at 475 degrees F for about 20 minutes, or until completely dried out. It's about done when some parts look almost charcoal and blackened. Keep a good watch on it though. :)
5. While your ribs are under the broiler, make your bbq sauce. Pour
your bbq sauce into bowl and add in your liquid smoke. Stir well.
6. Remove your ribs from the oven, and sauce them real heavy with your bbq sauce. BAKE at 325 degrees F on the MIDDLE OVEN RACK, uncovered, until tender. This could take anywhere from 1 1/2 hour-2 hours, depending on the size of your ribs.

NOTES: This recipe/method works for 1 rack of ribs. If you double the recipe (or more), you have to adjust the cooking time and also up the temperature, as well.
