As Cruise ships depart from their popular port of Belfast Harbour, they can be followed for different perspectives along the coastline. These ships have proven very popular with Belfast watchers. They are both docked and repaired in the city docks, making their visits a frequent occurrence.
Here are two vantage points at Holywood Esplanade and Donaghadee Harbour - places where local people spend plenty of time on the shore. You could also try Bangor Harbour and Groomsport Harbour for excellent views of big ship traffic, as well as Carrickfergus Harbour and Whitehead on the opposite Antrim shore of Belfast Lough.
This film includes the cruise ships Ambassador's 'Ambience' and Silver Sea's 'Silver Whisper'.
