This is a commercial TV type of ad I made for my English class. Well, it was supposed to be an ad, but it kind of became its own thing as I worked on it. Anyway, I'm gonna put my rationale here, because that's required.
I decided to make a commercial because I personally find making live-action videos fun, much more so than any other of the options. Additionally, it allows me to express my creativity in a unique way. I had originally planned to have this ad be based off the TV medicine ads, but I decided to make it more based on product ads. I tried to incorporate humor that I thought my target audience would enjoy, but I don't know if I'm actually funny, so some of the jokes might be hit-or-miss. I also included a story, because I learned that humans like to hear stories, so that might make my ad more memorable. My target audience is teenagers, as they are the ones who still have time to choose what they want their future to look like, and my purpose is to tell them that they should do what they want to do, not what anyone else tells them to do.
