Is this a Murphy bed or a fold-up table saw? Yes, a little of each. I wanted my table saw off my workbench, yet I needed to park my car in the garage. So I developed a storage system to allow me to do both. If you have a small workbench in your garage with no additional room, then this method of table saw storage may work for you.
I used the concept of a Murphy bed, to fold up against the wall, as the way to store my table saw when not in use. I recycled an aluminum shelf for the parts and used a hoist to lift and lower the table saw table.
