Devoid apologized to both of them for having suffered the same fate as him, the couple looked at each other in confusion. Mommy asks him what he's talking about, Devoid explains what happened in his universe, how he fell into the void becoming a faceless being,Mommy hugs him to comfort him and explains that they did not suffer the same fate that he suffered, he is surprised and now Dearest explains that there are vortices that take them to different worlds. Devoid understands, knowing that he had to stop these vortices and relieved that they have not suffered as he has. Out of nowhere, a vortex appeared absorbing the couple, Devoid tries to grab them but he was too slow. He cursed himself, hitting his Metal Sonic mask, he couldn't use much since he could only travel between time, not between worlds.

Out of nowhere, he was grabbed by the neck and crashed hard into the void floor. Pained, he assumes it is Eggman but his surprise was to see an alternate version of himself smiling sadistically.

Xenophanes: I'm amazed by your power, Sonic. I can feel that you're not in any timeline in this world, but you're between them. — He says without stopping to smile, Devoid tries to attack but the purple-shod hedgehog hits his head against the ground.— And really... I find you very useful. Are you interested in working with me?

Devoid: Never! — He yells at him angrily, grabbing the Xenomorph's arm.— You may not have realized it, but I'm a hero, you fucking bastard! Not in a million years will I work with you!

Xenophanes: Mm, that's a shame. — He says this calmly.— Then... I'll force you...

Devoid: Wait!-

A purple flash illuminated the void, only being able to hear Devoid's scream of agony.

With the marriage, both arrived at a place that seemed to be a labyrinth. Daddy sighed, being used to traveling between worlds, since at the moment he was meeting hedgehogs who were calm and did not want to kill them. And I hoped it would be like that.

They both explore the labyrinth because they had nothing better to do, while they were walking, they seemed to have heard some chains. Cautiously, they continue walking until they hear cries for help. They both run in search of who is asking for help, they looked in all directions. Mommy happens to look into the water and lets out a scream that frightens her husband, he looks to the shore and to his horror there is that blue beneath the depths, begging for help.

The blood-eyed hedgehog tries to get rid of the chain or break his leg, but his strength had faded since he's been underwater. He hears a female scream, looks up, finding himself surprised, happy and relieved that someone came to his rescue.

Daddy is more than determined to help him.

If he can, because the water is very deep.
