FNF OBSCURA (Mario Pissing Aethos) RETAKES (V1 vs V2 vs V3) + Cutscenes Complete Full Gameplay Showcase in 4K 2160p 60FPS for PC.
Remember the Mario Pissing meme? And Obscura, the Mario Pissing Aethos mod that I featured last year? Unfortunately, the original Obscura mod was cancelled, so all we have now are fan retakes keeping the project alive. The video I covered before featured the CJ_Crew retake, but today we're checking out a brand new retake by FROYO. While looking into it, I also found that the CJ_Crew version actually received an unfinished V2 update, so we'll be comparing every version from V1, the unfinished V2, the new V3/FROYO retake, and the original gameplay.
The unfinished V2 update doesn't include a completed cutscene yet, but it's still interesting to see how the project was evolving before development stopped. Meanwhile, the new FROYO retake brings its own interpretation with updated visuals and another fresh take on the song. It's always fun seeing how different creators approach the same concept while keeping the spirit of the original Obscura alive.
It still amazes me that people are making Aethos mods in 2026, but honestly I'm all for it. I don't think Aethos mods are bad at all. In fact, they marked one of the biggest turning points in FNF mod evolution. You can see their influence everywhere now, with so many modern mods following a similar story-driven format featuring long songs, cinematic cutscenes and emotional finales. They became popular for a reason, and it's great to see creators still putting so much passion into projects like Obscura.
