people thought this song is a subterfuge remix, but this instrumental proves it's not.
like it's not like subterfuge, and it's also dubstep, i made it dubstep to fit the 2017 vibe because most popular songs that time were dubstep, the only thing i took from subterfuge is the lyrics part because i really wanted to add it to the song, and when he says "you're not very good at this, ARE YOU?!"
because everyone loves that line and it fits for both old 2017 and new 2017, the lyrics parts also has a different meaning here because sonic is directly talking to the player and not tails like in subterfuge, because new 2017 thinks of the player as tails because he is so obsessed with sonic but the old one knows the difference, there are also other differences like sally is canon to the original 2017 lore while in the remake there is no mention of sally, maybe she is still canon but who knows, but yeah he completely changed and is no longer the same character anymore.
