This is my #4 RC plane since taking up the sport in July 2021. It is my first FMS product - (2 Hobbyzone's - Sports Cub and Aero Scout S 1.1mm; 1 E-Flite 1.1m T28 Trojan).
Admittedly, the documentation from FMS is pretty thin when compared to Hobbyzone and E-Flite. However, by doing A LOT of research on YouTube (e.g. Reflex setup, Setting CG, Mixing, D/R and Expo...) I was able to pre-maiden this out of the PNP box without a lot of difficulty. I installed a SPEKTRUM AR620 to work in concert with the Reflex V2.
So, today I went for my first flight using a 3S 2200 30C SPEKTRUM SMART tech battery. The grass field at the park wouldn't allow me to take off from the ground, so I did a wheels up hand launch.
The plane gracefully left my hand and smoothly rose (using the Reflex "Stabilized" mode) with no issues. I did a full 5 min flight in Stabilized mode and this plane was so beautiful in the fly-bys! Gorgeous silhouette against a bright blue sky. I brought it in for a wheels up landing and it gently set down. I was ecstatic.
For me, the plane is a true joy. Great fun to pre-maiden and a real joy to take up and zoom around in.
There wasn't a lot of current set up info on YouTube so I put this together. It is my very simplistic steps to set the Zero up using bits and pieces that I've gleaned from the many professional RC posters here in the YouTube community.

0:0 to 0:10 - Opening
0:10 to 0:20 - Quick Background
0:20 to 0:30 - Materials Used
0:30 to 0:40 - CG Balancing Jig
0:40 to 0:50 - Fitting Reflex & AR620 Spektrum Receivers in the plane
0:50 to 1:00 - AR620 AND REFLEX V2 MOUNTING
1:00 to 1:10 - Wiring the REFLEX V2 to the Servos and the AR620
1:10 to 1:20 - Gear and Flaps
1:20 to 1:30 - Flaps and Gear wiring
1:30 to 1:40- REFLEX V2 Gyro Switch Setup
1:40 to 1:50 - Setting the CG
1:50 to 2:00 - Velcro Dots on CG Wing Markings
2:00 to 2:10 - CG Balancing
2:10 to 2:20 - Bullet Weight Positions
2:20 to 2:30 - Final Balance
2:30 to 2:40 - Additional TX Settings
2:40 to 2:50 - Packing it in (The Rat’s Nest)

3:00 to 3:10 - Final Thoughts
