Part 52 of my playthrough of the Japan-only released Ps2 game, Full Metal Alchemist 3: Kami Wo Tsugu Shoujo
I will be translating everything in the video into english. This walkthrough is intended for any fans of the FMA anime, who have been wanting to play this game but have no japanese knowledge.
Story so far:
After Winry’s warm reception to their reunion, Sophie removes the holy symbol from Ed and Al. Winry, realizing that symbol is obviously dangerous for Sophie, asks if Sophie would consider erasing her own symbol. Sophie declines, as she wants to use her ability to help the remaining members of the Velza clan, suffering from the curse. Edward and Al are about to head out to headquarters to report to the Captain, before Sophie and Winry insist they want to come along. Edward and Al agree and they all head out.
In an FMV sequence, Edward is ambushed and fatally struck in the stomach from a knife-wielding Trigger. Sophie realizing Edward’s current situation, takes it upon herself to use her Holy Symbol to heal Edward. As she is doing this, Sophie meets Edward in a dream like scene and thanks him and everyone for everything. Suddenly, Edward wakes up, and upon witnessing Winry’s sobbing, realizes what actually happened. Edward screams out as his cries have no response to Sophie’s soulless body.
In the next scene, Edward and Al are surprised to see the Fuhrer, King Bradley. After a brief conversation, King Bradley reveals that it was he who ordered Craigin to attack the Velza clan in an attempt to learn the secret behind their powers. Edward, upon realizing that everything that happened up until that point, especially the tragedy that befell Sophie was Bradley’s fault, becomes completely enraged. Al, realizing it too, joins Edward and engages Bradley in battle.
