Performance. Lightness. Sustainability. Formfitting.

"I want people to understand their body, through the relation they have through the work" - Ernesto Neto

Nike Flyknit redefines performance in a near zero waste, incredibly comfortable, reductionist process that is altering the way we look at developing footwear. The characteristics of the Nike Flyknit technology has been applied to the arts through the activation of the Nike Flyknit Collective, formed to offer a place for global innovator to use these key principles and apply and interpret them in a way that connects with local communities.

Leading Brazilian sculptor and artist Ernesto Neto's unique installation, Swinflybaby, in the courtyard of London's 1948 space is an introduction to the Nike Flyknit Collective project that will span five cities before concluding in Rio. Here Neto talks of the project and collaboration with Nike and London's Run Dem Crew on his installation, on display through August 17th, 2012.
