Flying Island is an observation tower attraction located at Gardaland Resort, positioned close to Oblivion The Black Hole. Opened in 2000 and manufactured by Intamin, Flying Island lifts riders up to approximately 50 metres above the park, providing wide panoramic views across Gardaland Park and the surrounding Lake Garda landscape. The ride consists of a circular gondola that slowly ascends and rotates, allowing guests to take in a full 360 degree view during the experience.

La Mongolfiera di Peppa Pig is a balloon ride located in Peppa Pig Land at Gardaland Resort. Opened in 2018 and manufactured by IE Park, La Mongolfiera di Peppa Pig lifts guests into the air in themed hot air balloon gondolas, offering views across Peppa Pig Land from above.
The La Mongolfiera di Peppa Pig ride gently rotates while rising and lowering, allowing guests to see the layout of the area including nearby attractions and themed buildings, creating a calm aerial experience within the Peppa Pig themed environment.
La Mongolfiera di Peppa Pig is part of Peppa Pig Land at Gardaland Resort, a themed area based on the Peppa Pig TV Series that opened at Gardaland in 2018. Other attractions in Peppa Pig Land at Gardaland include Il Trenino di Nonno Pig (Grandpa Pigs Little Train), a train ride travelling through scenes featuring Peppa Pig’s family, L’Isola dei Pirati (Grandpa Dogs Pirate Island), a themed boat ride, and La Casa di Peppa Pig (Peppa Pigs House), where guests can walk through the Pig family home.

[4K] The Wriggler at Gullivers Land, join us for a ride on this brand new caterpillar-themed family roller coaster as it twists and turns around the track at Gullivers Land Milton Keynes.
The Wriggler is a Wacky Worm style steel family coaster manufactured by SBF Visa Group. This fun junior coaster features the classic caterpillar train design that has become a favourite at family theme parks around the world. The ride offers gentle hills, smooth turns, and a colourful train themed like a friendly wriggling caterpillar
The Wriggler recently opened at Gullivers Land and sits next to the popular Grand Prix Racers coaster, replacing the former Whirlwind ride. Although the park maps and website have not yet fully updated to show the rides official location within the park, it forms part of the growing collection of junior coasters at Gullivers Land designed specifically for children and families.
Gullivers Land is a family theme park located in Milton Keynes, which opened in 1999 and was the third park to be opened by the Gullivers Theme Parks group. The park focuses on attractions designed for children aged 2 to 13 and features themed areas including Western World, Lilliput Land, JCB Zone, and Safari Kingdom. Popular rides at the park include Grand Prix Racers, Crazy Crane, Dragon Siege, Runaway Train, and the interactive Silver Mine dark ride.
In May 2025, Gullivers Land also introduced the Upside Down House, a walk-through attraction located near Dragon Siege that allows visitors to explore a house where everything is flipped upside down, creating fun and unusual photo opportunities.
Gullivers Land is part of the wider Gullivers Theme Park Resorts group, founded by Ray Phillips in 1978. The group operates several parks across the UK including Gullivers World in Warrington, Gullivers Kingdom in Matlock Bath, and Gullivers Valley in South Yorkshire. Each park offers themed rides, play areas, and family-friendly attractions tailored to younger visitors.
Gullivers Land is also located near to the proposed site of the upcoming Universal Studios UK Resort, placing it close to what will become one of the UKs largest entertainment destinations.

Albero di Prezzemolo, also known as Prezzemolo’s Tree, is one of the most recognisable attractions within Fantasy Kingdom at Gardaland Resort. Fantasy Kingdom is one of the signature themed areas at Gardaland Resort and has been central to the park’s family appeal for over 25 years. Fantasy Kingdom is designed around family experiences, imaginative environments and Prezzemolo’s world, making it one of the most distinctive areas of Gardaland Park.
Prezzemolo first appeared in 1975 alongside the opening of Gardaland Park, originally serving as guardian of the park’s castle entrance. In 1993, Prezzemolo’s appearance was modernised following a competition won by illustrator Lorenzo De Pretto, leading to the version of the character recognised today.
Prezzemolo expanded beyond the park into comic books in 1995 and later became the star of an animated television series in 2002, alongside characters such as Aurora, Mously, Bambù and Pagui. Over the decades, Prezzemolo has remained one of Italy’s most recognisable theme park mascots and continues to represent the family identity of Gardaland Resort.
Gardaland Resort opened in 1975 near Lake Garda and has grown into one of Europe’s most visited theme park resorts. Gardaland Park features major roller coasters including Raptor, Oblivion The Black Hole, Blue Tornado, Shaman and Mammut, alongside water rides such as Fuga da Atlantide, Colorado Boat and Jungle Rapids, as well as dark rides including Jumanji The Adventure and Animal Treasure Island.
The wider Gardaland Resort also includes Gardaland SEA LIFE Aquarium, Italy’s first fully themed aquarium with over 5,000 marine creatures, and LEGOLAND Water Park Gardaland, Europe’s first LEGOLAND Water Park. Gardaland Resort accommodation includes Gardaland Hotel, Gardaland Adventure Hotel and Gardaland Magic Hotel, creating a complete multi day destination in Italy.

Step behind the scenes of the Wizarding Worlds most popular sport as we watch the Quidditch demonstration at Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter. Located on the Demonstration Stage in the Interior Sets area next to Hagrids Hut and the Green Screen experience, this fascinating presentation reveals how filmmakers created the illusion of broomstick flight throughout the Harry Potter film series.
During the demonstration, Studio Tour Interactors showcase the original Quidditch polearm rigs used during filming and explain how actors were mounted onto the equipment before being filmed against blue and green screens. Guests can learn how these innovative techniques helped create the spectacular flying sequences seen throughout the films and established the visual style for broomstick scenes across the entire Harry Potter franchise.
Quidditch is the most popular sport in the Wizarding World, played on flying broomsticks by two teams of seven players. The game features Chasers, Beaters, a Keeper, and a Seeker whose goal is to catch the Golden Snitch. During his first year at Hogwarts in Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone, Harry Potter became the youngest Seeker in a century after Professor McGonagall spotted his natural flying ability. Harrys first Quidditch match against Slytherin remains one of the most memorable moments from his first year at Hogwarts and helped establish Quidditch as one of the most iconic elements of the Wizarding World.
After watching the demonstration, guests can continue to the nearby Green Screen experience and climb aboard a broomstick themselves. Using technology similar to that used during filming, visitors can soar above Hogwarts Castle, chase the Golden Snitch, and experience the thrill of Quidditch before purchasing a souvenir video of their flight.
The Quidditch demonstration forms part of the First Year at Hogwarts event, running from 7th May to 7th September 2026. Celebrating the 25th anniversary of Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone, the event features original props, costumes, interactive experiences, Wizard Chess displays, Fluffy the three-headed dog, and special exhibits inspired by Harry Potters first year at Hogwarts.
Warner Bros. Studio Tour London opened in 2012 at Leavesden Studios, where all eight Harry Potter films were produced. The attraction showcases authentic sets, costumes, props, creature effects, and filmmaking secrets from the Wizarding World. Similar Studio Tours can also be found in Tokyo and Hollywood.
Leavesden Studios is also home to the upcoming HBO Harry Potter television series starring Dominic McLaughlin as Harry Potter, Arabella Stanton as Hermione Granger, and Alastair Stout as Ron Weasley. The new adaptation is expected to premiere in 2026.

Step inside Number 4 Privet Drive in Little Whinging, Surrey, where Harry Potter spent his early years living in a cupboard under the stairs, and explore scenes recreated from Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, and Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban.
Your journey through the Dursleys House begins with the famous living room scene from Philosophers Stone, where hundreds of Hogwarts acceptance letters flood into the house. Next is the dining room from Prisoner of Azkaban, featuring the memorable moment when Harry accidentally inflates Aunt Marge. Guests can also view the conservatory scene before continuing into Harrys bedroom from Chamber of Secrets, where Dobby the House Elf makes his first appearance and warns Harry not to return to Hogwarts.
Each room is enhanced with authentic sound clips from the films and detailed set dressing, making it feel as though you have stepped directly into the movies. The recreation captures the ordinary suburban world of the Dursleys that stood in stark contrast to the magical adventures awaiting Harry at Hogwarts.
The Dursleys House forms part of the Studio Tours Backlot area, alongside the Knight Bus, Sirius Blacks Motorbike and Sidecar, the Flying Ford Anglia, the Weasleys Burrow, and Professor Sprouts Greenhouse where guests can repot Mandrakes. The Backlot Stage is also home to the new Secrets of Sound Effects show during the First Year at Hogwarts event.

Dark Forest is located at the far end of Alton Towers, combining dense woodland, ancient ruins, and a dark narrative that surrounds both rides. TH13TEEN opened in 2010 as the world’s first rollercoaster to feature a freefall drop track. The ride takes guests deep into a cursed crypt hidden within the forest, delivering unexpected backward plunges and a psychological story-driven experience that adds tension and excitement to every twist and turn. Rita, the high-speed launch coaster formerly known as Queen of Speed, catapults riders from zero to 100 km/h in seconds before sending them twisting through the darkened forest, providing a thrilling complement to TH13TEEN. Together, these two attractions define the Dark Forest as a premier thrill area while maintaining a rich, immersive theme.
The area blends storytelling, theming, and natural woodland to create an environment where the forest itself feels alive. Faint whispers of wraiths, glimpses of crypts, and carefully placed scenic effects enhance the experience, giving the Dark Forest a sense of mystery and danger beyond the rides themselves. The Skyride station near the entrance provides a convenient connection to the rest of the park, while food kiosks and amenities near Fountain Square allow guests to enjoy refreshments without leaving the area.
Dark Forest has a layered history, beginning as the Talbot Centre in 1980 with the Corkscrew coaster and early family attractions. Over the years, the area evolved through Festival Park and Ug Land, introducing flat rides, playgrounds, and themed experiences for guests. Rita arrived in 2005, reshaping the area with its launch coaster and accompanying Thunder Rock Rally, while the discovery of the ancient crypt during Corkscrew’s removal led to the creation of TH13TEEN in 2010. The area has also hosted temporary attractions such as Roller Disco from the Retro Squad collection in 2021 and 2022,
Alton Towers Resort spans over 800 acres of Staffordshire countryside and combines thrill rides, family attractions, themed accommodation, and immersive experiences. LEGO Miniland at LEGOLAND Water Park Gardaland is a fully themed area built using over 4 million LEGO bricks, recreating some of Italy’s most recognisable landmarks in miniature form. Located within LEGOLAND Water Park Gardaland at Gardaland Resort, LEGO Miniland features scale models including the Colosseum, the Leaning Tower of Pisa and St Mark’s Square in Venice, complete with detailed buildings, towers and surrounding scenes. The models are constructed to scale and designed to reflect real world architecture using LEGO elements, creating a detailed walkthrough experience within the water park environment.
LEGOLAND Water Park Gardaland opened in 2021 as the first LEGOLAND Water Park in Europe and is fully themed around the LEGO brand. The water park combines slides, splash areas and interactive attractions with LEGO building experiences, allowing guests to engage with both water play and creative construction. Access to LEGOLAND Water Park Gardaland is available through a combined ticket with Gardaland Park, and the area is designed around family experiences with themed zones, water based attractions and LEGO inspired environments. LEGO Miniland sits within this setting as a detailed display area, offering a slower paced experience compared to the surrounding water slides and play areas.
The LEGO experience at Gardaland Resort also extends to the LEGOLAND Shop, where guests can purchase LEGO sets, LEGO minifigures, LEGO clothing and customised items such as personalised keyrings and accessories. The LEGO brand, created by The LEGO Group in Denmark, has expanded globally into theme parks, water parks and retail locations, with LEGO Miniland areas forming a key feature of LEGOLAND parks worldwide including those in Billund, Windsor and California, each showcasing detailed models built from millions of LEGO bricks.
Gardaland Resort is one of Europe’s most visited theme park resorts, located near Lake Garda in northern Italy.
