I Traveled 2,000 Miles to Win a Princess Auto Contest...
How do you win a national building competition when your build is 2,000 miles away? I was selected as one of the Top 40 Finalists in Canada for the Princess Auto Inventors Fair. The prize was huge (5x$5000), the competition was elite, and the headquarters were in Winnipeg. There was just one massive problem: my custom-built snowmobile can't go on a plane.
While the other finalists showed up with physical inventions, I showed up with a suitcase full of brochures and a dream. This video is the story of how I tried to "finesse" my way to a championship using a failed 3D Papercraft, a last-minute marketing campaign, and a $30 Facebook Marketplace TV that arguably belonged in a museum.
