In this video we recreate Reddit's "Under Maintenance" screen, making use of the Perlin Noise algorithm to generate the background pixels in a unique and uniform way.
Disclaimer: This is not the most optimized way to achieve this effect. Instead, it was a thought experiment and a fun way for me to play with the Perlin Noise algorithm. Caution if used in production :)
Only interested in one thing, no problem:
1. Perlin Noise Intro at 0:52
2. Noise examples at 1:30
3. UI Layout at 4:14
4. Random pixel generation at 6:15
5. Perlin Noise at 8:00
6. Animation at 13:00
