This is a 5 1/2 digit Fluke 8810A digital multimeter. It was manufactured in the late 1970's through the early 1980's.
It is an excellent meter for DC, reading Voltage from 200mv full scale, to 1200v full scale in 5 ranges. It has a 1 Gigohm (1000 megohms) impedance on the 200mv to 20v ranges and 12 megohm impedance on the 200v and 1200v ranges. The addition impedance in the 200mv to 20v ranges gives the meter a freedom from circuit loading not common at the time of manufacture. This is crucial if one is reading from a Kelvin Varley voltage divider, for instance.
This unit has the option for Ohms, reading resistance from 200 ohms full scale to 20 megohms full scale in 6 ranges with impressive accuracy. Included also is the AC converter, offering ac voltage readings from 2v full scale to 750vrms full scale in 4 ranges, with an input impedance of 2 megohms.
