This is the first video in a series of five, in which I show you how to create the squares, seam them up, add a backing, and add an edging to a flowery baby blanket.
This video shows you how to make the flower square, I call it a rose in the video, but later decided to call it a peony.
You can call it whatever you like.

The flower is 3d and is surrounded by dainty leaves.
You can make as many squares as you want for the size of blanket that you want.
One square measures about 13 by 13 cm or 5 by 5 inches after blocking.
