Flowerhorns are very unique and amazing fish that change colors to show you how they are feeling. These are some of my experiences with my flowerhorn changing colors when he was stressed.

Stressed colors are:
Vertical black stripes
All white body
All dark body
Faded black spots(the flowers)

I’ve compiled Foo's old videos to show you what the changes in your flowerhorn's colors might mean.


*Change in colors during mating might be something different. I've never bred flowerhorns before, so I do not know much about it.
