Flower Pot Acrylic Painting
Dirty pour over the bottom

A couple of years ago I painted up 10 flower pots and handed them out to family and friends to test for me. I told them to put out in the sun, on your front porch, wherever you would normally set a flower pot at your house, then at the end of the season, let me know how it held up.
Good News!! Everyone said that they still looked new and had no fading or cracking!! And that's what i experienced with mine!
So I made more and thought I would share some with you!

Painting on a flower pot can sometimes present a challenge to not have your paint run, so I used thicker paints to help.

My pouring mixture is 1 part paint/ 1 part PVA/ 1 part pouring medium/ & 2-3 parts floetrol to obtain consistency.

Colors:
Dioxazine Purple mixed with Createx Pearl Plum
Dioxazine Purple mixed with Deco Art Purple Pansy
Grumbacher Thio Violet
Black
White
Liquitex - Gold
