I mostly wanted to take the opportunity with this cover to experiment more with tones and mix techniques for recording this acoustic guitar, since I've never really properly done it. I did my best to find the right balance of something that sounded good but also somewhat mimicked the sonic characteristics of a shamisen, koto, sitar, banjo... you get the idea.

as such, this cover isn't metal. It uses metal-ish drums because I'm stubborn and dumb, but it's not really metal... but its also not really rock. its not folk either. I don't know what genre this would be. We'll just call it silly for now.
