Ever wondered how to use our Flour Setting Powder?? Here's our Do's and Donuts to lock in that baked beat all day long and control oil and shine. Step-by-step below!
1) DO DUST WITH A HEAVY HAND - Don’t be afraid to go in for a second (or third!) serving of setting powder. Your foundation and concealer will absorb some of it, and you’ll dust off the rest in five or ten minutes.
2) DONUT USE WHITE SETTING POWDERS - Even if you don’t notice a white cast in your mirror, camera flashes can show it! Use a translucent setting powder, or a color correcting shade like our Yellow Flour Setting Powder to reduce redness.
3) DO USE THE RIGHT BRUSH OR SPONGE - Use a dense brush or Blending Egg! Pick up Flour with a Blending Egg or brush, then press into your face. Dust off with a fluffy brush.
4) DONUT FEAR IF YOU HAVE DRY SKIN - Before applying makeup, moisturize with our Wake and Bake Hydrating Face Oil. Wait 15 minutes for Wake & Bake to absorb, then apply your foundation and get to baking!
5) DO FOCUS ON OILY AREAS - For oily or combination skin, dust extra setting powder on oily areas. You can set creamy concealers, too!
6) DONUT WORRY ABOUT TOUCH UPS - Apply in the morning and let your matte beauty show all day long, no touch-ups required.
