FWC seagrass researchers are collecting seagrass seedlings that wash ashore or found in the wrack line. Not able to plant themselves or be viable, the collected seedlings are brought back to seagrass lab where they establish roots and grow in a greenhouse. In spring, the seagrass shoots will be taken back to the area the seedlings were collected to be outplanted. #seagrassrestoration
