Florence street food is the fastest way to eat well between sights, and it is what Florentines do
instead of standing in a line around the block for a sandwich. Alessandro and I spent a day eating our way through the city, starting with lampredotto in Florence, Italy at a family-run cart that has been in the same spot for over twenty years, then cocoli, schiacciata, pizza al taglio, and gelato at a gelateria open since 1939.
