yes, dogumaru does really work here. Any ranged backliners like Urs and Ururun die very quickly to Kite and Prisoner

Pizza can sometimes be too slow to reach any enemies since he'll keep getting knocked back by the LD enemies as well, so Seafarer can be an alternative
