To continue last Friday's showcase of cut NPCs, I will be showcasing 2 flying NPCs that were also cut from Half-Life 1! First is the Flocking Floater who act similar to Boids, but unlike Boids, they have the ability to fight back if they are attacked! Second is the Control Sphere, which is an NPC that was mostly a concept art with a very minimal model included in the cut files. One can think of the Control Sphere as a flying Vortigaunt due to its attack and its textures. When we recreated them in Half-Life Resurgence, we based everything off of whatever information was found in the files or given by Valve! Enjoy!
