On a warm sunny afternoon, a flock of Asian Glossy Starlings had taken to improvising a bath tub out of an artificial water fountain in the gardens.
It was an interesting flock, comprising a mixture of adults, immatures and juveniles. Their different stages of plumage were contrasted in full display.
A Greater Racket-tailed Drongo tried to interrupt their showertime, but the former was largely ignored by these enthusiastic bathers.
Asian Glossy Starlings are common residents of Singapore.
