Go Around is a standard maneuver where a pilot decides to cancel a landing at the last minute, applies takeoff power to the engines, and climbs back up into the sky. To passengers, a go around can feel quite dramatic because the engines suddenly roar to life and the plane pitches up steeply just when you expect it to touch down.
