Back in the 60s, there was an amazing excavation job in which tons of earth and rock were removed from a section of the knobs (hills) in southern Indiana to clear a path for I-64 to proceed westward after carrying traffic from Kentucky across the Sherman Minton Bridge. I sent Flip up over the "cut in the knobs" to show just how much the landscape was changed. The launch spot was 3½ miles from the bridge, and 6½ miles from downtown Louisville, both of which can be seen in the distance.
